 6)  ISO 200 / NA if Auto ISO.
 7)  F8.        

 8)  Check Exposure compensation.

 9)  Check Bracketing.

10)  Press DISP button for Histogram.

  Objective:

   - Smooth moving water while maintain

         sharpness of fixed objects.

   - Take multiple shorter images.

   - Stack in PS using SHIFT/MOVE on

         2 images.  History brush sharp area.

    

    (Benefit of stacking 1 image at a time,

     you can control smoothness of water

     in post processing by adding additional

     sequential images.)

   

 

1.  Start with APERTURE PRIORITY
2.  Polarizer - no effect on exposure
3.  ND - 3 stop - match HISTOGRAM
   
4.  ND - 6 stop:
   TRIPOD / COMPOSE  / FOCUS.
   Take reference photo - attach filter
   Switch to MANUAL mode.
   Adjust SHUTTER SPEED per NiSi App
   Shoot multiple images.

 Open 2 sequentially numbered

    images on one pane in CS2).

2.

 Using MOVE TOOL (upper right),

     hold SHIFT key to superimpose

     one over the other.

3.

 Using HISTORY TOOL (right down

    4), erase top layer to reveal sharp

    areas below.

 Flatten, close, reopen sequentially

   numbered image and do again if

   need to further smooth water.

1.  Select 17-70 lens with 72 mm
2.  Turn off AF and  IS
3.  Attach cable release
4.  Put on ND filter if necessary
5.  Turn on LIVE VIEW.
6.  Compose ... Focus (use +/- detail)
7.  Use +/-  exposure compensation
8.  Depress cable release
   Close viewfinder shutter.
   ND8 3-stop (+1)  /  ND16 4-stop (+2)
1.  Attach Remote  /  Turn off VR & AF.
2.  Tripod / Compose  / Confirm focus.
3.

 Under "A" Aperture Priority, get settings.

4. Change F-stop / ISO to match a Speed below.
5.    Attach 10X filter.
6.  Left Front top dial to "M" ----> "BULB".
7.  Cover finder to remove stray light.
8.  See chart, make exposure for X min.

   

 
1.  Select 17-70 lens with 72 mm
2.  Turn off AF and  IS
3.  MODE MUP - self timer (2 sec)
4.  Put on filter
5.  Turn on LIVE VIEW.
6.  Compose ... Focus (use +/- detail)
7.  Use +/-  exposure compensation
8.  Depress shutter release
   
   

 

 

1.  IS & AF ... OFF
2.  AUTO ISO ... OFF
3.  APERTURE PRIORITY mode ... ON
4.  Attach Remote.
5.  TRIPOD / COMPOSE  / FOCUS.
6.  Adjust & Record  ISO & SHUTTER.
7.  MANUAL mode.
        (Take a reference picture.) 
8.  Attach filter.

 Set shutter per chart.
