Wear strategic
clothing & boots on board plane in case your checked luggage shows up a
couple days late.
TRAVEL:
If flying to a smaller city, backpack
that will fit in CRJ.

BEFORE SHOOT:
Several fully charged sets of batteries. (Dead batteries
can be revived by worming.)
Heat packs.
(Generates
130 degrees F of heat for at least 6 hours.)
Knee pads.
Micro fiber cloth or chamois
(Wipe snow droplets off of front of lens.)
Liners and fingerless gloves.
Leg protectors on tripod. (Helps
keeps hands from freezing.)
DURING SHOOT:
Never change lenses outdoors.
(Don't want to get moisture
or condensation inside the camera body.)
Shoot with rain cover. (Snow is wet.)
AFTER SHOOT:
Place cameras and lenses into a plastic bag and seal
them up before you bring them indoors.
Once inside, place in the coldest area you can
find so they slowly warm up to the new temperature. |
